Messages from the Board:

**Parents-Coaches-Players & Cheerleaders:   Please be respectful at our away games as well as our home games and clean up after yourselves. **

This is a youth organization and it is all about the kids having fun. Please remember to exhibit good sportsmanship and respect your team mates and other teams players, cheerleaders and fans at all times.

Football Players:

Pittsford was a tough team this past weekend but we gave it our all and scared them. Stay PROUD and keep your heads high, every team played great. We showed them just how tough Brockport can be. Now let's show Rush Henrietta on our home field this weekend.  Sandy Maines

Parents-Grandparents & Fans – This is our last home game, let’s make sure those football players can hear you on the other side of the field!!  Bring on the noise and show your spirit!!  Your enthusiasm and encouragement helps keep the momentum going!

If you are volunteering at the next couple of game, please be on time for your position. If anyone would like to help out this week with positions that we have open, please see Cheri Maines at practice on Thursday, Saturday, or at the game.

If you ordered from the FIRST Booster order at the pep rally the items have been in. Please see Sandy or Linda. The second booster order should be in by the end of October.

Cheerleader’s Corner

Cheerleaders:

I love your enthusiasm. You are loud and strong. Keep up the good work.
You were ten times louder than Pittsford last week. Great Job!

Sandy

B Squad Cheer

This Sunday is our last home game for the season!  As always please have your daughter at the field in FULL uniform by 2:30pm. Please at least bring the pieces of the uniform even if you don’t think you will need it. This is New York; we never know what the

weather is going to do. Snack this week will be provided by Serina. I’m not sure if everyone got the e-mail complementing all of the parents and other fans on B-squad for their extreme spirit at last Sundays game…lets do it again!! I was so proud of our girls at last Saturday’s competition, as well as parents too.  Let’s repeat that energy at RIT!!   With only 3 weeks left till RIT, attendance is of most importance. The girls need every minute to fine-tune their routine. Please talk with your daughter on the importance of listening and not goofing around during practices. I know how hard it is for them and now they have to deal with school and cheerleading at the same time.  With a little hard work this will be worth it in the end.

C Squad Cheer

C-Squad continues to work hard on the competition routine.  We have completed the cheer and are more than halfway done with the dance.  We want to stress the importance of making it to every practice on time.  We need to work on stunting and this is not possible if girls are missing.  We have 9 practices left and will need every minute of every one to complete the routine and perfect it for competition on the 25th.  Each of the cheerleaders was given a cd of the music.   Please encourage them to practice as much as possible in between our team practices as our practices will be much more productive when we come back together as a team.

A few reminders:  We are continuing to practice Tuesday's and Thursday's from 6-8 and Saturday's from 10-12.  The week of October 20th we will be practicing Monday through Thursday with a hair party on Friday (place and time to be announced).  If there are any conflicts please let one of the coaches know as soon as possible.  Please make every attempt to make every one of these practices as this is the final week before competition.

This week's game is home against Rush Henrietta.  Please be at the field by
10:30.  If there are any conflicts or you will be late please call Coach Michele on her cell at (585) 490-2648.

This week's Cheerleader's of the Week are as follows:

Averiona Wilson: Averiona is a returning cheerleader and is working hard to perfect her roundoff back handspring before competition.  She almost has it and we are very proud of her.  She can always be heard above the rest and is willing to go anywhere we move her.  She is emerging as a leader, has tremendous talent and is working hard to remain focused and show the other girls how it's done.  Keep up the great work Averiona!

Julia Woodworth:  This is Julia's first year with the Brockport Eagles however this is not her first year as a cheerleader.  She is strong in her moves and is working on developing her voice and "coming out of her shell".  She has brought us some new cheers and is very talented.  She is working towards being a leader and trying each position we move her too.  Keep up the great work, Julia!

Averiona and Julia will be the captain's at this weeks game.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.

Coach Michele and Coach Raquel
